![]() The annual Christmas Parade organised by the Hampton Hill Trader's Association Established in 1968 the Hampton Hill Trader’s Association (HHTA) is a not-for-profit organisation that has built its reputation for serving its community through the industry and enterprise of its retailers and services members. The aims of this Association are simple; to promote the interests of Hampton Hill village – its commerce, culture and people. More specifically, to be proactive in the development and, where necessary, defence of the viability and vitality of our local businesses, the community’s shopping and its general quality-of-life in all its ramifications. Throughout our activities it is HHTA’s intent to ensure its reputation is upright, visible, vigorous and vital. Thirty nine years ago four local traders got together to re-establish Hampton Hill’s long held practice of holding parades. Bill Hitchman (father of Roger Hitchman – Chair of HHTA), Holly Champion, Tony Caven and Tony Moleneaux) decided to launch the Christmas Parade. During the last four years attendance has grown from the lower hundreds to a record of 7.5 thousand, due to the support of our sponsors and local media. According to a Google search, Hampton Hill is full of history and now, renowned for its Christmas Parade. View photographs from the Hampton Hill Christmas Parade 2007
